On behalf of the Board of Directors, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families the happiest of holidays.
Reflecting on the year gone by and looking ahead to 2006, ACFO has remained and will remain committed to building a strong, vibrant and well-respected financial management community. Respected both in terms of compensation, and the value that we as financial officers bring to the departments we work in and the federal government in general.
We sincerely hope that this holiday season will be a time for you to spend with your loved ones, enjoy the laughter of children and grandchildren and above all, relax. We cannot underestimate the value of spending quality time away from the daily grind to bring some perspective.
