COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UPDATE - ARBITRATION AWARD
October 9, 2002
The Arbitration Board rendered its decision on October 8th, 2002, which establishes new rates of pay in the public service. This decision is final and binding.
The items in this award, combined with the items already negotiated and agreed to at the table, will constitute your new collective agreement. Members should be aware that only economic increases are retroactive, and that all other items will take effect on the date of signing, which has yet to be finalized.
