UPDATE ON PUBLIC SERVICE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
December 13, 2004
Although our last collective agreement expired on November 6, 2004, the terms and conditions of that agreement remain in place until a new one is negotiated. The ACFO bargaining team and our negotiator Phil Hunt of Shields and Hunt met on Saturday, December 4, to review and finalize the ACFO contract proposals. The team is now ready to exchange its proposals with the Treasury Board Secretariat. The dates of January 10 and 11, 2005 have now been confirmed; we will exchange proposals and start the collective bargaining at 1 PM on the 10th.
