MP Letters

Below you will find three examples of letters we would encourage you to write to your newly elected Member of Parliament to make her or him aware of the current round of contract negotiations.

They can be simply copied as-is, or edited to reflect your personal views. Please mail, e-mail and fax these to your MP's constituency office and Parliament Hill office.

By writing these letters, we will raise awareness for our cause. Our political leaders need to know not only what the issues of their constituents are, but also what the issues of the public service, and in particular of our FI community, are.
We very much appreciate you taking a few minutes of your time to help the Association and the FI community in its collective bargaining efforts.
