The Association Withdraws from CCRA Hearings
It is with regret that we inform you that the Association has withdrawn from the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency hearings at the Public Service Staff Relations Board. A legal opinion supported our decision. It was clear that the precedent set by the decision to have a single bargaining unit for all employees of the Parks Canada Agency made it pointless to proceed. A letter was sent to our CCRA members to inform them of our decision.
The Association would like to thank our CCRA members for their support over the years and to wish them well as they await a decision on who their new bargaining agent will be. The Association will continue to be their representative until that decision is made.
