Public Service Collective Bargaining Committee
The preparations for the next round of collective bargaining in the Public Service will begin in June. Any member who wants to be considered for appointment to the Collective Bargaining Committee please submit your name to the national office by May 30, 2001. The Board of Directors will make these appointments at their meeting on May 31, 2001. The first meeting of the Committee will take place in the first two weeks of June.
The survey conducted for the last round of bargaining, supplemented by the additional issues/concerns which you identify, will serve as the basis for negotiations.
In order to assist the Committee in its discussions and formulation of collective bargaining proposals, please submit your suggestions/proposals for negotiated changes to the collective agreement. All proposals submitted to the National Office will be reviewed by the Committee and considered for inclusion in the Association's bargaining package.
